This forum is about posting ads and generating traffic to your site.

It is great that anyone can post ads
here to generate traffic to their site.

But I understand what Jack is trying to say.

If we don`t all take some time to read each others posts,
then why post at all.How is posting here or anywhere else
going to get you any traffic if no one reads what you put up
for all to see?

Just my thoughts on the subject.

If you don't read the ads, how will you know what other marketers are offering.

I have found some of my greatest programs by reading other ads.

Yes, I still keep up with what others are offering, so that I won't miss out on the pot of gold.

I hope you're reading the ads to keep up with what's going on.

Its good posting ads but i'll prefer marketers update their posts so we can be informed of new updates.

I agree with what you are saying. I also think that it helps if people post other things besides ads because this is another tool that helps to draw interest into your business...but that is just my opinion.

attention and leads me to a site that addresses my needs
or wants.

When I see an ad of interest but it is poorly presented,
time permitting I will post a reply in hope that my
comment on an issue with the ad reaches the poster.

The poster may make a change to an under performing ad post and
that ad my take off. A comment does not have to be an earth shaking.

I would expect no less of anyone reading an ad I posted

At least reading... We all could become immensely rich if everyone here just would spend the day visiting other's websites and clicking on some ads. I wonder why everybody is just waiting to make money without being willing to at least surf around a bit for free and effectively produce money..

But i guess that wouldn't do any good because all PPC search engines would go broke within a week or so and we would finally be left with a super fast Internet without advertising.

Would we really be bored to death therefore?

I agree that message boards can be utilized as a good advertising tool, but better than that, they should be utilized to allow people not only in the same businesses and/or industries share success and failures, but also allow others to as well. I have learned that I can learn anything new from anyone running their own business, whether it is successful or not. The message boards should be utlized for sharing these ideas on a regular basis

I know exactly what you are saying. It is required to come in and introduce ourselves to the forum and post a few replies before posting and we see a lot more ads here in this forum than replies or introductions.

Out of curiousity, is everyone following the rules or are they forgetting to read them and just go straight to post their ads instead? Oh well, it's neither here nor there...it's none of my business anyway. Just thought I'd interject as to what I think Jack100 is trying to say.

Its all about balance the whole point of this forum is as the name surgests "postfreeads.free-forums" But to bring people back it is good to have threads on"traffic exchanges" PPC,article writing/Blogs,autoresponders, ect where people who have been online for along time write a thread on these subjects and encourage new people and old to ask questions or debate what has been written. There are lots of new people join the net evry day to try and make money and knowledge is power which can equate to making money.

Yes, the main purpose of this forum is to post YOUR ads...PERIOD!

Yes, I have a General Chat Area section for members to discuss whatever. But, "No Advertising" in that section.

There are lots of new people join the net evry day to try and make money and knowledge is power which can equate to making money.

Yes, that's why I feel that a Free Advertising Forums are good to learn how to post ads and see the kinds of ads of other members...
